Are You Chasing Success That Doesn't Align With Your True Hearts Desires?? >>> Activity Included

Throughout life the idea of what success means is thrust upon us from many directions, our parents, grandparents, siblings, friends and social media all have a view on what makes us successful:

- Achieving good grades - Looking a certain way - Securing a steady job with a great career path - Making the right friends - Being in the right social circle - Buying a house or car or invest, invest, invest - Getting married - Settling down - Having a family - Saving money

Oh, and once you have all of that you can finally Be Happy!

While that all sounds great on paper and may fit in with the “mainstream” idea of why we exist and what our life goals should include, for most of us it doesn’t align with our thoughts, values, soul calling and experiences, or the tools we have been blessed with to work through our life and life challenges.

So, when we are chasing the success we are told is right for us within the time we are told is right for us, it usually doesn’t actually align to how we feel in our heart or flow with our own internal view of 'happiness, making it and being successful'.

>>> The problem is that if we don’t actually desire any of these things or find it impossible to achieve them, we can feel like a failure - but we shouldn’t feel this way for not being able to achieve something that we personally didn’t really want in the first place!

Being successful isn't necessarily about what you own, it's about a state of feeling and being!

Activity: I challenge you to sit down and ask yourself 'what does success mean to me?'

The first thing you will need to do is discard all that you hear from those around you about what it is to be successful and feel into what you want to achieve while you are here on this earth. Start with a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle.

On the left-hand side list what you think or have believed success to be up until now. What has been ingrained in you since childhood about what a successful person looks like? Be honest whether you agree with it or not write it down.

Now close your eyes and take a moment to feel into your heart, just be within your own energy and be honest with yourself about what you really feel.

On the right-hand side write down what you personally feel being successful and living a successful life would feel and look like to you, with no outside influence.

No idea is wrong or stupid, these are your feelings and hearts desires without the influence of others!

What comes up for you in this space is leading you to discover what your idea of success is.

It is ok and healthy for your idea of success to be different to the ‘mainstream’ idea of success.

Uncovering and embracing your idea of success will help you become clearer on your goals and help you to establish areas in your life which you may choose to actively manifest in, heal, grow or uncover paths to follow in alignment with your hearts calling.

To me success looks and feels like:

- Doing work I'm passionate about - Doing work that helps people - Doing work that doesn't feel like 'work' and that feels good to wake up and 'go to work' each day - Creating a business that is flexible and offers freedom - The ability to travel when and where I want without approval - Living a life without obligation - Surrounding myself with good people, lots of love and mutual respect - Having the freedom and ability to decide on my income and not be restricted financially - Living in flow with my heart and hearts calling - Seeing friends and family as I please - Waking up excited for each day

Success to me is more so a feeling and place I want to live from, feeling present, abundant, living from a place of love and positivity, feeling energised and living from a place where anything is possible, my faith is so high that I know I'm always supported, everything works out for my highest and greatest good.

The ultimate word for my version of success is FREEDOM.

Freedom to live on my own terms.

I hated being told when I had to do something or what days and hours I had to work.

When I worked in hospitality, we couldn't take leave from November through to February each year.

I missed out on many special occasions and many family Christmases with family members who now aren't here to celebrate Christmas in the physical world anymore.

Freedom to me is not needing approval to take time off in order to LIVE MY LIFE.

It's making decisions for my highest and greatest good in alignment with my hearts calling. Freedom to me is being able to manifest the desires within my heart. When I am not in touch with my heart and moving towards my own happiness I feel overwhelmed, heavy and blocked. I feel like something s off and come back to this activity.

Since I've established this for myself I have achieved goals really quickly because it's easier to live and manifest from a place that's in alignment with my hearts calling. It creates less resistance to what I'm manifesting. This is a part of manifestation that's not often talked about and a key component when calling in your hearts desires.

If it's in your heart and you feel worthy, you will attract it.

What are your true heart's beliefs when it comes to living a successful life?

What are your true hearts desires?

Take some time for you!
